Owner Karen Hill is a third-generation florist, originally from Auckland, New Zealand, where she trained at a young age and developed her passion for floral design. Her career highlights include working as the in-house florist at The Hyatt Regency Auckland, where she created stunning arrangements for some of the world’s most notable figures, including Her Majesty the Queen of England, Mrs Clinton, and Mrs Mandela during CHOGM 1995.
After falling in love with the Whitsundays over 15 years ago, Karen established herself as a trusted name in the region through her Airlie Beach store. Now, after years of customers from Proserpine and surrounding areas requesting convenient local access, she’s thrilled to open the doors to Proserpine Florist.
